Single life vs married life. What would be best for you?
Nowadays, many people decide to get married or stay single. The conception of marital life and dingle life can change depending on each person's point of view. Every opinion should be respected as long as is not damaging. In my opinion, I think being single is better than being married.

Being single can have multiple benefits. You have time to discover, know and work on yourself. This is a very important thing everyone should do in their life, to live a full life. You also have plenty of time to hang out with your friends and meet new people due to the fact of having more independence.
Although, marriage can bring you economic and social stability. this commitment is usually very demanding and requires a lot of effort and time. Another disadvantage is the paperwork that has to be done and the amount of money to be invested when a married couple decides to divorce. When my aunt was divorcing her partner, the procedure was stressful and tiring. They purchased a house together and had kids in common. Due to these inconveniences, the process was more difficult.

In conclusion, each type of lifestyle has its advantages and disadvantages. We must keep in mind that not everyone experiences these two ways of living the same way.

Are humanitarian organisations important today? Give reasons to explain your answer.

Nowadays, there are a lot of humanitarian organisations that work to help people in need, specially for those who can't get help on their own. In my opinion, they are extremely important because even though there are lots of them, they are not enough for the amount of people who need their help.

One of the main reasons they are important today is because of the consequences of the pandemic. Due to the pandemic, lots of people have lost their jobs and therefore, their houses or the money to buy all the food they need. If it weren't for this organisations, many families wouldn't be able to keep on going. Another important reasons are to help educate the children that can't go to school, mainly in places where they don't have enough resources to build one. Also, in situations like that, humanitarian organisations can help build schools, hospitals, houses... They can also provide medical aid to those people who are in war zones, as the Red Cross.

To sum up, humanitarian organisations are now more important than ever because we are in a difficult situation due to the pandemic where lots of families are having a hard time and it's crucial they get the help and attention they need.

Are humanitarian organizations important today? Give reasons to explain your answer.

Humanitarian organizations play an important role as defenders of social, humanitarian, and environmental causes. I support the existence of humanitarian organizations because the work that they do is incalculable, such as helping people who are suffering because of armed conflicts or natural disasters.

According to the UN study, there are 80’4 million people who are forced to live far away from their home because of war, violence, religion, nationality, political opinions, gender or sexual orientation. That fact shows that the causes of emigration are created by us. The less important cause because people are forced to emigrate are natural disasters, which means that we are creating organizations to fix the problems that are created by ourselves. Another problem is the rejection of European governments to take emigrants in, because taking emigrants in your country requires money, to educate them, give them a job, a place to live and not only that, the rejection of the native population is also tremendous.

We can’t stop helping the people that need help, because you might be one of them in the future, and I’m sure you will want those organizations to help you whatever it takes. Best way to help, is to became a volunteer.

Are humanitarian organizations important today? Give reasons to explain your answer.
Nowadays, more than 135 million people need humanitarian aid. Taking into account the massive amount of wars, violence, persecution and a lot more problems in the world, maybe there's not enough humanitarian organizations in this world.

For example, "Save The Children" is an organization which provides food to different countries in Africa like Sudan, Somalia or Nigeria. Because of rain shortage, drought and conflicts between tribes, more than a million children are suffering famine; and organizations like "Save The Children" work everyday to solve out these problems. There, people help (besides taking food) with medicines, trating malnutrition and diseases, specially with kids under five years old, who can't survive without any food. Volunteers also set up small hospitals to attend the most severe ones.

It's true maybe people from developed countries ignore this situation, because they have never suffered anything like this, but it is time to open your eyes and become aware. Undeveloped countries were not as lucky as us and they need our help. There are a lot of types of aid, not just donating money; so, if volunteers are giving everything for all them, why can't we contribute with our seed?

How would you describe a responsible pet-owner? Justify your answer

Nowadays a lot of people own pets like cats, dogs, hamsters (like I did) and people even have pigs at home, so what makes someone a responsible pet-owner?

For starters, a responsible owner is someone who takes care of the pet the best way they can and that means that they have to provide food and a comfortable place to live. Although for me something really important is that the owner loves the animal, so he dedicates time to play with him, to walk him to the park (in the case of dogs)... All of this is for the animal but when you own a pet, specially if it needs to go outside, you have to be responsible for what the animal does. For example you have to pick up the dogs poo and walk the dog with a leash, specially when there are kids nearby and I know that this is something very important because when me and my sister were little, a big dog started chasing her, and even though he just wanted to play we were scared and all of it happened because he wasn´t wearing a leash.

In conclusion, I believe that if you own an animal you have to take care of them and if for some reason you can´t, a responsible owner should try to find the animal a new home, not abandon him, because at some point you loved the animal.

victoria avila dijo...

How would you describe a responsable pet owner? Justify your answer.
When people feel lonely, they often choose to adopt or buy a pet, simply because of how loving and caring they are, not to mention how much they keep you company.
Owning a pet requires responsability and time. And not all pet owners are fully ready nor qualified to own one.

Firstly, you have to be economically stable to have any kind of pet or animal. You´ll need to have money to cover their vet bills, food expenses and other inconveniences you might run into. It´s very common to see pets that are born with a malformation and end up in the streets due to how expensive the reconstruction or procedure is or simply because they don´t meet the canine beauty standards the owner has.

Secondly, you need to have a lot of time, especially if they are babies. You´ll need to teach them how to behave properly and respond to commands you have taught them, not to mention how to socialize both with animals and other people. If not socialized, it can result in behavourial issues.

In conclusion, being a responsable pet owner means keeping your little compagnion happy, healthy and making sure all their basic needs are up to date and taken care of.

EXPLAIN HOW SMARTPHONES HAVE CHANGED OUR LIVES. Jimena Beviá 2C
Since I was young, smartphones and other electronic devices, have been key when talking about communication and entertainment in our society, and although each one of us can have our own opinion about them, It is a fact that it has changed our lives.

On the first point, we all have to accept that internet in general has opened a huge door to developing our social and working routines.I consider that we are not conscious that we have in our hands a machine that ables us to contact and search anyone or anything, but are we in control of our actions? Being honet, using your phone in a dangerous way, can be harmful, but if you can manage to control your privacy, your device will just help you to make your daily life in an easier way.

In conclussion, we all have to be concerned about all the risks internet has. It is important to be informed about how to mantain your privacy for providing any problem and for being able to enjoy all the positive points smartphones can offer.

How would you describe a responsable pet owner? Justify your answer
A responsable pet owner would be someone who would take care of all of his pet needs, like food, medical treatments or activities, a good pet owner also would teach his pet to act well mannerd un the street or other public places, but most importantly a responsable pet owner would always make his pet life's be filled with joy and kindness. Unfortunately not all the pet owner act like this.

Throughout the global pandemic of 2020 the number of pet adoptions skyrocketed because many people felt alone in their houses, however when the restrictions started to being lifted up and people started to go out again many of these pets were abandoned. These kind of things make me furious, those persons clearly didn't have any kind of love or respect to their pets, we must understand that pets aren't just toys we can get rid off, they are alive and they have emotiones, many abandoned or abused pets have a hard time trusting again other humans. That's why I think a responsible pet owner is someone who's capable of providing to his pet everything it needs to have a healthy and happy life.

In conclussion, a responsable pet owner is someone who understands that pets are living beings with both physical and emotianal needs, at the same time time that takes respnsibility of their pet's actions. After all they would do it for us.

Tama Marín dijo...

how would you describe a responsible PET owner?
I believe that the most important thing that a pet owner should do is educate and give the dog the affect it needs.
Dogs are not like cats, they must spend the less time possible home alone. They need attention, they need love and a lot of time.

It's important to keep your pet as clean as possible, not just to make it look good, also for its health. For this reason, is also essential that you take it to the vet whenever is necessary.
You must walk it at least three times a day, 15 minutes minimum. Dogs need to walk, run and play for their health and happiness. It's also important to pick up your dogs poop to keep the street as clean as possible.

In conclusion, people who own pets must be conscient of what they are taking care of and if you are thinking of having one, think twice before making your decision.

Do you think women's role in Spanish society has changed over the last years? Discuss.

In the human history, women have always been undervalued because they were "apparently" weaker. In my experience, I've been raised and educated in a matriarchal family, and I've seen the difficulties that women have in our society and the improvements that they have achieved in Spain.

Women have fought peaceably for the rights that they deserve, such us having a bank account, to be allowed to vote or to drive. Today's women have not only the duty to raise the kids, but also to financially support the family, dealing with all the obstacles that our society has created to make it harder.
Salary or pay gap is the modern obstacle that women have to fight against to have an equal social structure; according to the UN study, the Spanish pay gap is around 28%, and Spain will need almost 105 years to get this issue fixed.

Like Mary Wollstonecraft said: "I do not want women to have power over men, but over themselves". Women still have a long battle, but we, the men, have to fight as much as women do for their rights.

How would you describe a responsible pet-owner? Justify your answer.

My dog told me: "you think you love me, but, I love you without thinking". According to that sentence, dogs love humans unconditionally, but we love dogs under a lot of conditions. So, I would say that a perfect pet-owner would be the person who, before having a dog, thinks: what can I give to my dog, instead of what my dog can give me.

In my family, we have two dogs, and the first thing to be a good owner is to realize that you are not the ownwer of anything, you're jut sharing your life with them.
Secondly, if you don`t have time to be with your dog, please, don't have it!! There're plenty of people who are almost nine hours in an office at their jobs and they have a dog waiting for them at home, and when they get home, they're too tired to take the dog to he park. Thridly, dogs are alive, and they have the same needs as humans. They require love, attention, healthy food and a lot of time in the park, so they can socialize with other dogs. And the last one, do not buy dogs!! It is really important to stop buying dogs from illegal or legal breeders. There are plenty of dogs who are waiting to be adopted.

To conclude, having a dog is the best thing ever, but it's not for everyone. Animals have rights and we need to fight for them.

"Animal cruelty is an important issue in Spain nowadays" Do you agree? Justify your answer"

In the Spanish culture, the animal cruelty is part of the traddition. Animals are used for two things: working and entertainment. In my opinion, animal cruelty is the worst part of our culture, and we should think about it, and try to fix it as soon as posible.

An example of animal work is the hunting dogs. The hunters use dogs during the hunting season to hunt big animals, such as deer and mountain goats. When the hunting season ends, the dogs are abandoned or killed by poisoning or hanging.
An example of using the animals for entertainment is bullfighting. Bulls are used to fight against a man for hours until the animal is so tired, that the man kills him without any complication or regrets.

Animal cruelty will exist until animals are considered as emotional living beings with rights, and not as property. We are running out of time to stop animal cruelty, because we were and we still are a different kind of animals.

Do you think women's role in Spanish society has cghanged over the last years? Discuss
Spanish society has progressed a lot last years if we refert to women's role. Although women have more freedom and rights than they used to, Spain has still a lot of work to do.
If we look back in time, Spanish women did no mora than work at home, taking care of the daily tasks and children. They didn't work in important places in any company and it was very normalized. Watching any type of advertisement from 20 or 30 years ago makes our jaws drop. A sexist society that related women to a simply submissive object that belonged to kitchen, where genre violence was completely normalized.
Despite de tought that all these situations have disappeared and that women are now much better, we still hear daily women being murdered, raped or abused, and many of our teenagers, who are supposed to be more comprehensive and respectful with these problems, have abusing behaviours towards women. Not taking into practise all these Feminist ideas most of us approve might be the problem. If we really want women to be as important and respected as men are, we have to match every aspect we can. Distributing workplaces, reporting any intrusive or disrespectful behaviour and not laughingat those "jokes" that do nothing more than ridiculize and hurt.
In conclusion, it is obvious that women in Spain have achieved progress and they are in a better place than they were some years ago. However,Spanish society has still work to be done, and the way to do it is by teaching and educating the whole society on equality and respect.

Do you think women's role in Spanish society has changed over the last years? by Miranda Rada
Society has evolved technologically in an exponencial way, however, we've evolved very slowly as a society itself. It's flabbergasting how different everything used to be only half a century ago, especially how different women used to be treated. Fortunately, nowadays women are treated fairly, even though there's still a long way to go in some societies.
Take Spain for instance. Women weren't allowed to vote until a few decades ago. It's baffling how something as crucial as voting wasn't allowed for women. Also women could be beaten by their partners and there was no law to bring them justice. There are many other aspects in which women hace evolved whithin society, however I find voting and laws against battery to be the most remarkable. Let's not also forget that women nowadays have more important jobs, such as high corporate positions.
All in all, I believe women's role in society has changed worldwide as seen by the new laws and new opportunities that they are given to grow whithin society themselves.

You and your friends decided to spend a night in the forest. Write a horror story.

Who thought it was a good idea to spend a night in the forest in this cold weather and while it’s snowing? My friends thought about it, and I was so stupid to go with them.

30 minutes ago I got lost in the middle of the forest. Even though I shouted asking for help, nobody heard me. It was really dark and there wasn’t a moon, I was scared. I kept walking until I heard someone behind me, I felt relieve thinking that it was one of my friends, but when I turned around, there was nobody. I looked down to see if there were other steps besides mines, and I saw it. I felt a chill run up my spine, there was a road splashed with blood. I followed the road thinking that there could be someone who would need help. When I reached to where the blood drops guided me, I felt like throwing up, my heart started to beat so fast that I was scared that I could die of a heart attack. There was a puddle of blood and there was a person, no, she was my friend Clara, decapitated.

When I tried to run, it was late, there was already a person behind me with a demoniacal smile and waving goodbye at me.

Would you like to live in a world with only artificial food? Justify

Food is what keeps us alive, It's life. Naturally, the body needs to be nurtured with a balanced amount of certain foods in order to mantain a healthy lifestyle. Most of the nutritious food is natural whole foods. Changing that in order to only eat artificial food might be a drastic change to what everyone is used to. Although, seeing it in a different light, living off of a world with artifical food might be beneficious.

To start off, food could be altered so that it is at its most nutritious and it is appealing to most people, seen as people are more drawn towards unhealthy foods such as fast food establishments. The health issues caused by unhealthy consumption of food could be solved with genetically modified food. Another thing is that it might be cheaper to make this food in the long run, considering how it is more nutritious and more people with consume it. Also, it could benefit countries in poverty and famine, since now more food could be madre and be more nutritious. Perhaps also new combinations of food could be made.

TO conclude, living in a world with artificial food might be the most optimal, however not the most desirable. Genetical modification of food can be beneficial financially and healthwise. To answer the question, no I would not like to live in a world only with artificial food, however I would like to live in na world that also has artificial food, considering how beneficial it could be.

Divorces rates have increased in the last few years.

Divorces rates have increased a lot in the past years. This is due to the loss of some traditional ways that we had and followed in our society.
In Spain as in every other country in the world, marriage has been the usual tradition for all young couples. But in these marriages the roles weren’t the same as now. Specially the women were educated to never leave a man if they had been married; which caused that couples would be lees impulsive about getting divorced because they worked through their problems together.

Nowadays no one depends completely on their couple. And we also have become much more impulsive and impatient, since we have everything we want or need almost instantly. All of this contributes to make a decision about splitting with your partner much mora quicker and without a real reason.

In conclusion we should: think twice before making that decision, and try to get through the problems with our partners. That will lower the rate of divorces in Spain, which nowadays is very high.

You and your friend decided to spend a night in the forest. Write a horror story.

My friend and I entered the forest running as fast as possible. From the distance, we could see the lights of the prisoners’ camp. The large building at its side was our objective. It was the place where aliens were doing experiments with humans. We carried large weapons and explosives. Other soldiers from our company were attacking the camp from the other side. I could hear screams, cries, shots and explosions coming from there. As we approached to the building, I could smell burned human flesh. We ran even faster. Then, I saw the large pile of bodies. Some of them were almost completely burned. Others still could be recognized. That terrible image filled me with anguish. We had arrived too late. We had to reach the building as soon as possible. As I turned to continue running, I could see in the pile of bodies an image that left me frozen. A boy and a girl had been sewed by their backs, forming something as a human being with two heads. The girl was still alive, crying quietly. The boy was burning. I looked into her eyes and understood her suffering. I shot her twice into her head, to finish her suffering.

I turned toward the building and I ran inside as fast as possible. My friend was in front of me, already entering the door of the building. I saw his body split into two parts. I felt a hit on my hip that made me fall on the floor. My head was on the floor and I could see my legs some meters apart from my body. All became black.

As science evolves, it is more and more common to listen to people talking about going to space in a near future. It is believed that not many years ahead from us, space travel will not only be a normal activity, but also a sustainable one. In my opinion, this could be a great opportunity to learn more about space, planets or gravity among other things.

If we want to achieve that, we will need to spend a very large amount of money in it. There are lots of costs that need to be covered such as building the rocket, preparing special food and clothes or paying the people who work on its development. Also, it has lots of risks: if the helmet is not well-placed, you will have no air to breath or the rocket could suddenly stop working. I think it should be a risky but interesting activity but I don’t really think we should spend a large amount of money on it yet. There are other way more important things that should be covered before, such as finding a cure for cancer or other diseases that kill lots of people every day.

To sum up, space travel sounds exciting (and a little bit dangerous, too) but I believe there is no need in investing a lot of money on it right now as we should invest it on more important things that affect us in the present.

Working in Spain or abroad. What would you prefer and why?
It is well known that Spain is one of the bests countries to live in. However, the situation is the opposite refering to work. Sapin is a country whre brain drain is an important problem, students get a really hood formation but they find themselves forced to leave abroad looking for a reasonable salary. Personally, I'd like to work in Spain, bit I will probably end up working abroad since I aim for a scientific research job.
My dream job is at the CERN at Switzerland. I'd like to do research in Physics, from particles to cosmology. This means, if I want a well-paid job, that i will have to work abroad. However, if working abroad ends up not being my thing, Spain has charming research projects, specially in Canary Islands. But that mainly my B plan.
In summary, my aim is to give my best and make it to Switzerland someday, but if it doesn't happen, I would probably consider looking for an interesting project in my own country. I wouldn't mind that much about money since I can live properly because all I want is to get to know how the world and the universe works

Working in Spain or abroad. What would you prefer and why?
My parents came from China to work in Spain and to have a better quality of life. They make enough money to raise 3 children, and for having some cravings or luxury, but at what cost? Working 6 days a week for 9 hours, spending little time at home with us, and most of the times, returning home tired.
Sincerely, I don’t want to work in Spain. Our working timetables are longer than other countries, and in work, sometimes you can’t be focused or be productive at all because you are tired, not only physically, but also psychologically. Also, now with the increase of prices in supermarkets, electricity … it’s very hard to pay all of them, forcing people to lower their life quality. If you don’t work at a good company, or have a high position at work, your salary will be just for surviving, it will be difficult to have some money left for your hobbies. In addition, it’s very difficult, not only in Spain, to find a proper job, because in a lot of places, they want you to have experience, no matter if you have just finished your University degree, only if you have perfect o very high marks, finding a job would be easier.
To sum up, I would prefer working abroad, not only for finding a sustainable job, but also to experience new cultures and learn new things, I want to develop professionally. Even though I don’t know what I want to study exactly or what is my dream job, what I know is that I want to work abroad, in different countries or in a job that requieres traveling a lot.

What was your experience with subjects at bachillerato ? Which one did you enjoy and which ones would you chance?

The bachillerato are two years of studying subjects without learning any thing. To get up , go to class, attend to the teacher, return home and continue studying. So I think there is something wrong with education system if that is all we aspire to.

First year is fun, there is variety in the subjects. But second year is the closest thing I have ever known to hell . There aren't many subjects, but there are many topics and all of them are important. It is a year to learn things like a parrot, sometines without knowing what we are doing. Also, teachers are so focused on their subjects that they forget that we are only seventeen or eighteen. That we have problems outside of class and we should study with them. They forget that a mark can't define if you are a good or a bad student.

Second bachillerato has made me feel bad with myself more than once. I have felt useless for trying and not being able to pass all subjects. Is that what the system wants us to feel ? If we don't pass all subjects, are we bad students? I think the system is wrong and if not everythings was focused on one mark , there would be less people giving up because they feel something is wrong with them.
